• Qualified as a Montessori teacher (0-3y and 3-6y AMI Diploma Courses, Maria Montessori Institute, London)
• President of the Parents’ Association at the Pastrana Primary School running monthly workshops and activities

This rather varied curriculum has brought me into contact with people from all walks of life, both in the UK and in Spain. Working in the Town Hall for four years led me to fortify formal connections with local business people and associations. My areas of responsibility were Tourism, Sports, Environment and Livestock – “bins and goats”, my children liked to tease. I helped organise conferences in the palace for groups as varied as the University of Alcalá to the National Apiculture Association, took responsibility for the children’s activities in the annual Honey Fair and was the point of contact for charity runs and village sports competitions.  We may be only 873 residents, but we are very active!

After living in Pastrana for twenty years, I am very familiar with the local area. Our children were born here and are now adolescents so we have been involved with all aspects of village life; our daughter played the saxophone in the village band and our son continues to participate in the football league. I love going for runs in the beautiful countryside that surrounds us.

I believe that I have all the necessary qualifications to work with you to plan and coordinate a fabulous wedding here in Pastrana. I will be on hand to help with every element of your wedding, especially as an intermediary and translator. I can advise on travel from the airport as well as on options for holidays in Spain to tag onto the occasion.  Additional services such as babysitting or local excursions can be arranged, as can activities in the village itself.
